Day Two - At the summit of Crook Peak

Crook Peak is 627ft above sea level and is a notable feature of the Mendips in Somerset.

We managed to reach the summit without the need for oxygen, although the dogs were mostly on leads because there were lots of sheep, cows and calves on this National Trust land.

We were passed as we worked hard to reach the top by a fell runner who made some of us feel particularly unfit!

You can see the farm where we're staying from Crook Peak.  Our side door is the white door in the centre, with the river Mark Yeo running in front of it
